    Hell on earth

Mephisto gives our anti-heroes another chance at life in exchange for defeating blackheart. Can they do it? Can the female ghost rider make me like her even less?

Good: This is a event that you CANNOT take itself seriously. While there are high stakes, reading the comic, gazing at a lava-filled Vega and even just listening to the concept, it is just as absurd as a DragonBall Z episode ( yep, that is how you put Venom and DragonBall in the same sentence.) I really love the absurdity of it all, especially in this the issue in where it takes these characters. Venom,X-23, Red Hulk and Ghost Rider are written well and seem to be written better with each issue. The art is great, especially the opening scene where our heroes return to earth. Its just a fun book that has an absurd premise, but unlike most absurd concepts, this has substance.

Bad: I always loved X-23. Laura is the only reason why i started to read this event. Over readI have gotten interested to venom as a character to the point where i am starting to read his previous issues. While Red Hulk is still a really stupid character to me, i kinda like him. Alejandra however, I find to be the weakest character- whose stupid decisions and attitude can be frustrating to the reader. To be honest she is my only complaint with this issue. A nitpick is that we once again get the same preview to AVX that everybody who has the internet or got the free program preview has already seen.

Verdict: Do not miss out on this event. Especially seeing as how this is a slow week for comics.

Highly Recommended!Outside Hell, at the city limits of Vegas, the battle rages on with only Doctor Strange and Hellstorm holding back its fury. Inside Hell, Vegas appears on the outside, what it has fostered for so many years on the inside. Okay, maybe that was a bit far, but there certainly was A LOT of symbolism in its depiction. The art in this issue was stupendous! The panels filled the pages, many to the bleeding edge. The pages were dark, yet colorful with hellish shades of red and yellow. ...
