Vandal Savage
Vandal Savage is a comic book character that first appeared in Green Lantern Vol. 1 #10Vandal's threat lies in his caveman savagery, millenia of fighting knowledge, and the kind of experience you can only gain by living most of human history and all of human achievement.
Ancient History
Fifty millenia ago, Vandar Adg was the leader of the Blood tribe, a group of Cro-Magnons in Europe. The ruthless Adg discovered a meteor rock, the radiation from which advanced his intellect and rendered him immortal. Over the centuries, Savage would manipulate events from the shadows with the Illuminati and rule as a pharoh in ancientEgypt ; a Ceaser in Rome; the Mongol Hordes as Ghengis Khan; the Spanish Armada and advised Napoleon. He also committed serial murders as the notorious Jack the Ripper in Whitechapel, London.World War II
During the Second World War, Vandal fought the Justice Society Of America as part of the Injustice Society. He collected DNA from team and used to them to create Damage. Savage engineered the hearings with the joint congressional un-american activities commitee that eventually led to the JSA's break up in 1951.
A Modern Threat
He has not slowed in recent years. Vandal created the super drug, Velocity 9, joined over villains in Tartarus to fight the Teen Titans, plotted nuclear extortion and destroyed the city of Montevideo, Uraguay. Savage uses transplanted organs from his decendants to increase his life, which extends to the 853rd century. It is this future self that created the Hourman virus and unleashed it in the future before travelling back in time to die in the Montevideo attack. His current self witnessed his death knowing he has millenia to plot his revenge.
