    Origin

    Vana is a spy from the planet Terra, a physical twin of Earth but in orbit so that it is always hidden from its sister world and different in that its human population is 92% female, it is more advanced scientifically, and they still have dinosaurs. After spying on various Earth governments for years to make sure they do not discover the existent of Terra and bring the war like ways of Earth to her home world. She however is forced to reveal herself and Terra to an FBI agent when it looks like the Russians are close to getting their hand on Terra’s advanced science.

    Vana is an accomplished scientist, spy and space pilot of the type of craft known on Earth as flying saucers.

    Creators

    Vana was introduced in the newspaper comic strip Twin Earths by Oskar Lebeck & Alden McWilliams that ran from late 1952 to 1963.
