I am taking a stand right here, right now! These day when people say Vampire they mean the shiny, metrosexual, emo "good" vampires that seem to be so popular right now. Gone are the creeping ghouls that stalk the shadows, the animalistic killers that would rip you to shreds, the monsters that haunt your nightmares. What are we left with? Over emotional pompous teens that just want to be loved.
Hell no I want my original vampires back, the ones that where actually scary, the ones that are shambling corpse that claw there way out of its gave with the every intention to rip your throat out. 
"Vampire." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the 29 of April, and you will once again be fighting for Vampire freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right of the Undead. To exist. And should we win the day, the 29 of April will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Vampire Independence Day!
