Personality
===========
The teenage Valeria was a cheerful and confident (overconfident you might say) girl who enthusiastically leaped into action before thinking things through. Due to this, she often found herself in trouble. But never intimidated by the odds she made her best to prove her worth.
Powers and Skills
===========
Marvel Girl had a number of different powers, a few of which were identical to her mother's powers, and a number of unique powers. As her mother, Valeria could turn objects invisible or turn invisible objects visible. She could also generate force fields of various strengths and shape them into countless forms.
A power that her mother did not have was the so-called "time dancing" which allowed Valeria to teleport through time. She also claimed that she could negate her brother Franklin's reality-manipulating powers. The existence of these powers is not confirmed.
Valeria demonstrated super strength when she challenged the mind-controlled She-Hulk, Titania and Absorbing Man. First blocking the She-Hulk's blow and then with a single blow sending the green amazon flying. She-Hulk crashed into Titania and Absorbing Man, seemingly stunning the lot for a time. This feat of 'super strength' was performed without her armor so it must have been achieved by the use of her force field or been an actual power. Moments later, now in her armored form, she withstood a beating from a possessed Thing, Absorbing Man, She Hulk and Titania.
Mr. Fantastic has tested the infant Valeria and found no superhuman abilities. Naturally, this does not prove anything; as she is still a child, her powers might manifest later.
For while Val served (involuntarily, of course) as a magical familiar for Dr. Doom, allowing Doom to see through her eyes. This bond is thought to have been broken though.
The Human Torch met a future version of Valeria who could render objects completely invisible by obscuring every kind of radiation, including heat, kinetic energy and bioelectrical signatures. This ability to hide from all forms of electromagnetic detection was far superior to the Invisible Woman's ability.
Marvel Girl was skilled with technological items and computers. In combat Valeria demonstrated a high level of agility and moderate levels of combat skills. She was skilled in football (…or 'soccer' as it is known in some parts of the world) having been trained by Mia Hamm herself.
Valeria's genius level intelligence and technological aptitude could almost be rated as a superpower as it rivaled that of Mister Fantastic.
Paraphernalia
===========
When Valeria first appeared on Earth-616 (the 'real' Marvel world), she was wearing an armor that resembled Dr. Doom's armor. In fact, the armor had been designed and build by Victor von Doom as protection for the young Valeria. Val could change into her armor by pressing a small trinket she wore.
