Alan Moore always does this. He makes a mini-series, it turns out to be awesome, then he forgets about it and moves on.

Yes, I agree V is the man. I've been a fan for a very long time and still read the GN from start to finish at least once every three months...and the flick if it where a VHS it would have stopped working by now :)
