i love this movie and is second best to 300 as besty movie ive seen ever
V for Vendetta
I liked it the first time, but it's just one of those movies I don't want to see again (not not ever again, just not normally).
I would like to see Batman Begins again though.... it's been almost 3 hours since I last watched it..... getting antsy!
Not really, I haven't seen it in...... almost a year. Loved the game too.
There were a lot of changes and exclusion made in the movie that were in the comics. I liked the movie, don't get me wrong. It just was a better book in my opinion and was very different. Alan Moore didn't like it so much because they made it more Hollywood and moved somethings out and changed certain things that were there originally. I actually missed the speech he gave to the statue of Lady Justice in the comics, but was left out of the movie.
That movie was very awesome. I enjoyed it alot, never read the comic though. I should read it. Probably will later.

" finally read the book and even so I still love the movie, is there something wrong with me? "No. I know where you're coming from. The acting in that film was incredible...it was a gorgeous story and I feel they projected that onto the big screen and did plenty of justice to the book.
" @Babs said:But i would have loved to see both" @aztek the lost said:exactly, I mean sure there were some variations, but both stories were amazing, whether or not they're exactly the same I feel they are both stellar...besides, Adam Susan(Sutler) being in love with a computer might seem just a little odd for film-goers, and Natalie Portman probably didn't want to stand naked in front of the camera for the standing in the rain scene "" finally read the book and even so I still love the movie, is there something wrong with me? "did plenty of justice to the book. "Did we watch the same movie, Babs?
They took the central theme of the book and everything that was important about it and replaced it with the message "I hate Bush. We are all the same."
I can accept somebody liking the movie. In and of itself the movie is quite good. But it does not do the book justice. It pisses all over what the book was trying to say and uses Alan Moore's name to promote someone else's agenda.
" @Babs said:I get exactly what your saying, but when I said that I found it did the book justice, I was talking about the same events that were present in the film that had mirrored the comic book. The story was the same. Plot line was very similar, and I can't complain because most of the scenes present in the book were also in the movie. The political message was quite different...but the ultimate theme was the same."did plenty of justice to the book. Sure. The cinematography and acting were great.
I just feel that in order to do something justice, you have to keep with the soul of what you are basing it on and the Wachowski brothers not only failed to do that, they didn't even try.
The theme of the book was bringing down facism with chaos and rebuilding society with anarchy. The theme of the movie was bringing down totalitarianism with civil disobedience and assassinations which, by the way, completely contrast each other.
