The Kaleesh warlord was severely injured during a crash and most of his body was replaced with machinery. Having mastered the all lightsaber combat forms after training with Sith Lord Count Dooku, General Grievous soon became a deadly threat even to the Jedi, garnering a reputation as one of the most feared beings in galactic history without even being able to use the Force like any Jedi or Sith
