The time has come for Usagi's former sensei, Katsuichi, to take part in a duel with the dangerous swordsman Koji. As he and his small band of travelers make their way to meet Koji at the Kitanoji Temple, they soon come across a tiny village being terrorized by a gang of renegade ronin. Now Katsuichi must choose -- ignore the villagers' plight and maintain his course, or stay and fight, risking to forfeit the duel altogether. Either path puts his honor on the line!
