Flying a Martin Marauder is bad enough... every time I poured on the power and felt the huge engines rocket down the bumpy North African runaway, I got petrified... landing the stubby-winged medium bomber was even worse! Just flying the B-26 was enough to make an old man out of me even though I was only twenty-three back in 1943 when we were fighting in North Africa! But, to make it worse, I had to have a Tennessee Wildcat for a top turret gunner... who thought I was yellow! He didn't know what fear was... and hated anyone who did!

Despite the most elaborate security precautions at the huge air base, there were saboteurs at work... but who? Was it one of the civilian technicians who worked closely with the Air Force on th ultra-modern techniques and equipment being developed? Or a man wearing the U.S. Air Force uniform who was trying to send airmen to their deaths! Whoever it was did a nasty job on the B-58 Hustler!
