Unus has a force field that covers his entire body. It can deflect objects and attacks off of him. His force field can even deflect telepathic attacks.

Invited to join the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants on the condition that he defeat a member of the X-men, Angelo Unuscione chose the Beast, and was close to defeating him when the cleaver X-man used a gadget to overload Unus' force field. Though apparently killed while working with the Blob, Unus was recently seen alive in the ruins of Genosha.
