An experimental device created by Professor Harker to create a new form of self-sustainable energy with which to benefit the whole world. He'd opted numerous attempts at making his project succeed but was met with failure more times than not. Until an interplanetary renegade by the name of Nebula came to him in the guise of a fellow scientist, offering knowledge and equipment well beyond that found on Earth to help him accomplish his ultimate design. Compressing a nuclear blast to the focal point of an Atom's nucleus to generate limitless dynamic force. Unfortunately there was always the underlying danger that such an undertaking, while generating virtually endless raw power that can feed the world many times over, ran the risk of triggering something called a Genesis Pulse which would destroy the Marvel Universe by creating a new universe within the old. The two annihilating each other as a consequence.
