Red Eye and his brother were introduced as pirates in "Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold" (October, 1942). They typically serve as henchmen under Black Pete or other villains with more dominant personalities.

Cornelius Coot was the founder of Duckburg. Statues of him were introduced in "Statuesque Spendthrifts" (March, 1952) and are ever-present in stories set in Duckburg. The character himself has rarely appeared in stories. He was the father of Clinton Coot. His grandchildren included Elvira "Grandma Duck" Coot and Casey Coot.
Scrooge's Detectives are two otherwise unnamed detectives hired by Scrooge McDuck to keep Magica DeSpell's house on Mount Vesuvius under constant surveillance. Naturally they are unable to keep Magica from coming and going at will and are often fooled by her stealth tactics.
