Ben Parker was the Uncle of Peter Parker. He was killed by a burglar, who had come to the Parker residence looking for money. Peter later captured the burglar, and realize that it was the same burglar who ran by him earlier that day, but he had chosen to not get involved.

Because of this, Peter consider's himself responsible for Uncle Ben's death, and decided to fight crime as Spider-Man, Uncle Ben's death was avenged when the burglar returned for the money again. While threatening Aunt May, the burglar died from a heart attack when he saw Spider-Man once again.
