Into The Center Of The Earth.

Synopsis: The search for the Amber Room turns into another direction.

Four issues in, and I'm expecting something....unnatural to happen because, well, Uncharted fans should know halfway in the game, something....unnatural tends to happen. In a way, it does, as the story shifts into a new direction. Like the Uncharted games, something better (or terrible in most cases) comes along that would outdo what Nate would be searching for, and this is good in this case.

Again, I love the interactions in this comic, more importantly between Nate and Chloe. Because this comic book series takes place before Uncharted 2, Joshua Williamson allows the two to interact, and give a reason to why those two are attracted to one another. And it comes on naturally, as Chloe plays hard to get.

    Uh-huh. Right.
    Uh-huh. Right.

One of the problems with this issue is that when the story does goes into a new direction, there's not a good explanation unless you're a history buff. Fans will have to do some additional research to understand the importance of the new story development, The City of Agartha, but I WILL say that runs on familiar grounds with the second game somewhat.

    Overall:

With only two more issues left, I have to suspect the unexpected. Anything can happen, and I'm down for the ride.
