    Right before A vs. X

    This was a nice issue; it is always cool to see the X-Men and the Avengers together and not at each other's throats. Carlos Pacheco, as always, amazing, and he actually allowed me to appreciate Kieron Gillen's writing... Greg Land gets on my nerves.

      Good: The issue was fairly pleasant. I like Pacheco's art at times, even though I think it is a step down from Land (even if he does trace) The dialogue between characters was done well and they are starting to advance some points that fans might have been asking themselves like with Magik's detainment on the brig and Colossus finally having enough of it or trying to talk with Scott. Emma's back which I am happy for, I think Gillen has done a wonderful job getting the character back in her stron...

      Originally posted on my blog, The Comics Cove, not too long ago...I like the cover for this issue. It's dynamic, not too crowded or busy, and it's always nice to see team-ups between groups of superheroes. The composition is particularly satisfying for me, as you've got eight bodies on one page, which could be potentially taxing visually, but they're spaced very logically. Iron Man and Magneto are back to back, knocking each of their opponents off-screen, while Cap in the front and Magik in the ...
