Uncanny X-Men #4 6

WARNING THERE BE SPOILERS!!!I picked up the last issue of this series to help include diversity through my stack, and include my first Marvel series. I loved everything about last issue, and though I considered picking up Bendis' All New X-Men, it didn't keep me as invested as this series so I will wait on picking up that series. The cover alone won me over, and though All New X-Men coincides with this series, it wasn't hard following through with Scott's plan for Jean Grey's School, but on t...

Great art and almost great writing 0

Uncanny X-men #4 will most probably be divisive amongst most readers. The great thing about the issue is that Bendis wrote a script that makes this issue stand on its own from All-New X-men, which is exactly what any good comic should do. I was initially worried that Bendis would make this issue feel too similar to ANX #10, but that is NOT the case here. The only downfall to this is if the reader isn't following both books; there will be some moments in the issue where you might need some clarif...

Also back at the New Charles Xavier School for Mutants the students pick their own dorms.ReviewThis was ...

The All-New Uncanniness 0

Seeing as Bendis writes both the All-New X-Men and this series, it comes as no surprise that the two series crosses over within some similar events. However, the event is handled pretty nicely, as both series take a nice look on the same meeting. This issue compacts the 2 issues from All-New X-Men into one nice, succinct plot that follows the behind-the-scenes work more than anything else. We see the Stepford Cuckoos talking with Emma as familiar conversations play out in the background, see wha...
