Mind's Eye
While still good, this book suffers from some awkward dialogue and a somewhat convenient plot point towards the end. This is by no means a bad issue, and is definitely enjoyable, but could have used some more work, wording wise.
This is because Cyclops is narrating the entire conflict, which ranges from interesting to in your face. This style seems to be a theme as of late, what with Amazing X-Men 3 and some of the early Uncanny Avengers stuff, and, though it works sometimes, it isn't always so successful. Mostly, the issues here are just some odd phrasing and general direction of the language.
Otherwise, this is a rather interesting conflict that pushes many of the characters farther than before, and gives us a nice break point before the dang ol' Battle of the Atom gets in the way. But I have faith that Bendis can make his contributions worth pressing through the next two issues.
