    Saving AvsuX.

The Good: I've voiced my opinion over the past few weeks on this event in various forums and after taking time to read the main books, I've been proven right so far in questionable writing, a poor practically non-existent plot and John Romita JR's artwork drawing everyone as if they were from Superhero Squad at times. I've also voiced my opinion on how I've enjoyed Gillen's take on UXM. So I may seem biased here, but I'm not. My disdain for this event is very high, nothing against the writers personally since they CAN do some great stuff. Winter Soldier, Death of Ultimate Spider-Man, WATXM Fantastic Four etc. But as a unit how can they not come up with something good? Gillen is actually making me excited for this event. He gives great dialogue, puts things into the X-Men's perspective making the Avengers seem like bad guys which I agree with but does so in a proper light. He didn't make Cyclops appear to fly off the handle, he made Rulk understand dealing with Colossus in a cool, but brief fight. To me he is just going along with the main books but supporting his own opinion and doing it well. I have also admitted to liking Land's work despite ...the controversy he is the only person I like to see drawing Colossonaut. So far this is the best book of the event I have read and probably the only one I will recommend in reading if you are at all interested in this book. Also, the protocol was awesome.

The Bad: Nothing. Good dialogue, makes the event interesting and something to look forward too and is writing better than the main books just on his lonesome.

Recommend: Yes. I support what Gillen is doing and how he is approaching things but also doing so to go along with the main books and respecting both teams' characters.

      Best Uncanny issue yet. 0

This is issue 11 of Uncanny X-men and it is a Avengers vs X-men tie in and I have to say the X-men tie ins are better than the Avengers tie ins. This issue features the fight between Colossus and the Red-Hulk it also has an in depth look into thoughts of some of the X-men.The cover I love it just made me want to pick it up and I love the Lightning affect coming from Colossus. The story is great it is incredibly well written and the fight between Colossus and the Red Hulk is very well done. There...

Second Best Tie-In I've Read so Far 0

Now, I haven't read Secret Avengers yet, so maybe that'll take the #2 or #1 spot, but so far the X-Men tie-ins have been a lot better than the Avengers tie-ins. This one works really well to give perspective to some of what we've see in the main AvX series. We get to see into the heads of a few characters and I like where they are going - character-growth-wise. I was shocked that they split up Colossus so soon after Kitty became tangible again, but they are potentially doing some pretty neat thi...
