In order to prevent a nuclear holocaust, Wolverine and his team must kill every last person working in the facility. X-Force can save the day, but at what cost?

    Parental Advisory

Deadpool is trying to get into an army base, supervised by Wolverine. Fantomex is guiding Deathlok through The World and they discuss whether it should be destroyed or closed to ensure Weapon Infinity will never get out again. Psylocke is doing a therapy session with Warren to find out when Archangel first appeared in him. She locks him back in a psychic cage afterwards.

Wolverine calls her and Warren to go looking for Deadpool who disappeared during his mission in Smoky Mountains, Tennessee. Together with Fantomex the four of them break into the facility where Psylocke notices the Shadow King's psychic reign. He manages to disable her and to mind-control Wolverine and Archangel, as he has only done with Deadpool. Deathlok is safe with his telepathic dampening blades but is disarmed (literally) by Wolverine. Psylocke undergoes a psychic battle with the Shadow King who tries to disrupt her by evoking her brothers.

The Shadow King manages to free Archangel from his psychic cell, hoping to use him against the others. But in a twist, Archangel turns on him and kills a guard who had his hands on a bomb to stop him from launching it. When the others discover him with the dead soldier, they are unsure what to say or think about this development.

Cover: What color is the title going to be this week? Oh, awesome, it's orange.  Seriously, though, I love that fact about these covers, they change the color of the title quite a bit to fit the mood of the issue.  The rest of this cover, unfortunately, does not impress me, though it is applicable.  The Good: The sense that these characters are in real danger is a very big bonus.  The dialect is poignant and very potent, it holds true and carries the storyline very smoothly.  Even Deadpool's j...

In a book like this, with so many "crazy" and "unique" characters, it´s awesome that Remender always takes his time to proper introduce a squabble or two between the members of this team and also develop the growing problems in the turmoil psyque of Warren before the next adventure is throwed to the table - it´s very nice to see that the writer is concerned with the evolution of the characters, instead of only worrying about the action or the plot itself - that´s a great feat of this ongoing ser...

THE GOODI REALLY liked the story. I had a bit of everything, and for a non-arc story, it was solid and kept me engaged. Hot off the heels of Deathlok Nation, the team is back at the X-Cavern recooperating. Deathlok gets a tour, Wolverine is running Ops, Angel and Psylocke continue to attempt the impossible - controlling Archangel. All this AND we get a very interesting and exciting mission to take on the Shadow King. The psychic battles are really something else. You never know how much control a...
