    Synopsis

Paris, a bit ago: Fantomex and Psylocke have been in the same hotel room for two days straight. They are completely enamored with each other. Psylocke is a little bugged that Cluster is in the next room. Fantomex asks Psylocke to join him that evening for a diamond heist. She resists until he mentions that it is for his ailing mother. Cluster then interrupts and lets the two know that she has food ready; Psylocke's is even a vegetarian meal. As Cluster leaves, Psylocke agrees to give Cluster a chance, as well as agreeing to help with the heist. Delighted, Fantomex gives here a gift: a purple Fantomex suit.

Madripoor, now: Cluster and Psylocke enter a seedy club with girls dressed as sexed-up superheroes. (Psylocke is in her purple Fantomex suit.) Cluster explains that an ally of Weapon XIII is in the club and has information they can use. The ladies split up and act as additional ladies of the club. Psylocke enters a back room and runs into a girl dressed as pre-transformation Psylocke. This girl tells Psylocke where she can find Weapon XIII's lackey, Yau. He's in the Deadpool Suite.

Psylocke and Cluster barge into the suite and confront Yau. Yau calls for his backup - a horde of ninjas. Yau makes his escape. Cluster confirms that she has Psylocke's back.

Paris, then: Psylocke, Cluster, and Fantomex flee with their diamonds. Psylocke turns to alter the memories of their pursuers but ends up taking a pretty nasty fall. She is able to find a handhold on the ledge of a building. She calls for Fantomex to help her. Cluster arrives and helps Psylocke up. They flee.

Madripoor, now: The ladies chase Yau while holding the ninjas back with gunfire. Yau leaps into a bathroom and the chase seems to be over. Demon Bear starts going nuts in Psylocke's head. Suddenly, the room seems to shift. Cluster knows the feeling - Weapon XIII is present as is using his powers of misdirection. The guess is accurate; Weapon XIII springs from the shadows and takes Cluster hostage, telling Psylocke to drop her weapons or he will "misdirect" Cluster's brain all over the floor.

Paris, then: Fantomex revels in the loot he and Psylocke have acquired during a few of their stints. Psylocke mentions that she is growing weary of thieving. Fantomex plays belligerent and Psylocke gets upset. She goes outside for some fresh air while Cluster asks Fantomex what he has done this time around.

Cluster goes outside to check on Psylocke. Psylocke can't understand how Fantomex can be such a jerk. Cluster explains that the separation has been difficult for everyone. The three had been a balanced whole before. Now, the three are apart with Fantomex taking the jerk portion, Weapon XIII taking the dark part, and Cluster taking the softer part. Psylocke realizes then that it is within Cluster that Fantomex's love for her dwells. The two girls kiss.

Madripoor, now: Psylocke is tied up. Weapon XIII approaches in a suit and presents a rose, claiming his actions are based on love.

    What the Huh? 0

I'll be honest, had I bought issue 6 when it came out I would have dropped this book then and there. As it is, I bought it today with this issue. Issue 6 did not thrill me. Issue 7, however, had to be read and I'm glad I had it. I went from wanting to drop this book to looking forward to issue 8.The change of art in this issue is awesome. I love the hackneyed lines of a setting in Paris. It oozes cool. It oozes sexy. I miss Ron Garney dearly, but the art of the past few issues has been really fu...

X-Force? IDK, Girl Interupted maybe 0

Cover art: 1.5/5With all the technology available, and all the competition to have a newcomer or a collector continue to want to pick up a book, the cover is essential shiny paint job that should create awe and desire to know what the heck is on the inside of this book! I get none of that from this cover. A boring Fantomex family photo, with limited detail and no background. Put it next to a highly colorful, detailed, and fun cover like Wolverine & TXM #32, this cover looses every time. The ...

    Worst series ever... 0

Sam Humphries is talented, in the way that he can make both lesbians and x-force uninteresting. If you love bad acting day time soap operas you might really like this comic. Unfortunately x-force is not the place for soap opera drama. There's nothing wrong with some romance in comic, and sure as hell nothing wrong with some lesbian heroes in the x-force books. This X-force is all drama, very little action.I've disliked the voices for characters before. Characters Ive grown to love, I'm slowly s...
