"I Hope You Did."
After the Dark Angel Saga, I knew that it would be very hard to follow up with a arc as good as that one. In my opinion I was right, the Otherworld(#20-21, I stopped reading after that)story was very mediocre. Now it's a fresh new story, an amazing artist, and a look into AOA(Age of Apocalypse) Nightcrawler's past. Good. Prior to this Nightcrawler(Although he has only been on for like three issues) and Fantomex were my least favorite of the bunch, now their my favorite characters. We get to see a nicer side of Fantomex, as he has a brief conversation with his "nephew" Genesis, who is also a very cool character. Nightcrawler was very "meh" before this issue, but now you finally get to see what a great character he is. Nightcrawler's battle with Iceman(AOA) is amazing, it's really cool. The art makes it even better, and the conversation they have is just really fantastic. My favorite line is from Nightcrawler "I hope you did.". He really has become his own character, he's not the Nightcrawler we knew. Also amazing art, I wish Phil Noto did interiors more often(Although I think I heard he's doing something for Dark Horse). Bad. Psylocke seems to have went from one of my favorites to...I don't wanna say least favorite but kind of. Also Captain Britain has been really annoying in this book, he used to be one of my favorite characters(still is in the Ultimate Universe, the Jamie Braddock version) but here ehhh. Also Deadpool, and Wolverine do nothing. Overall. So excited for the Omega arc, definitley pick this up if you stopped reading Uncanny X-Force because you didn't like the Otherworld story. Also theres going to be a new member, who could it be?
