    THE GOOD

I loved how this issue started out. Because was a completely novice X-Book reader, I had forgotten about many of the tricky devices used to mislead the reader (not in a bad way). It certainly made its point, I was surprised, having a constant compulsion to turn the page and read on...

After reading this, I wanted to start reading Deadpool. His character in this is just so damned entertaining. In fact, each of the characters has their own draw, but Deadpool is my favorite.

I also continue to enjoy how each character is allowed to explore and take advantage of each situation to the best of their abilities. This series has really highlighted a lot of new character qualities for these X-Force team members. I am hooked.

    THE BAD

It seems strange that a team this powerful could be ambushed. It certainly made for a suspenseful concluding sequence though!

    THE VERDICT

Highly Recommended! This is just the second Uncanny X-Force book, Chapter 2 of 4 of the Apocalypse Solution and I am already fully entrenched in this team. This book was wonderful, but again I actually would recommend picking up the trade of this arc. You will not be disappointed. This issue is also available in something called a "Must Have" Issue, collecting Issues 1, 2 and 3, but you would be missing the best part, the conclusion.

In my novice X related title eyes, this issue hits a lot of the points that the first one does, but with an extra issue buffer on my near complete ignorance this issue makes a lot more sense.  What is lacking here as opposed to the first issue though is a greater sense of urgency.  The first issue focused either on characters or on action in a pretty good balance, and while that balance is also mostly here, it takes a bit longer to get rolling here.  Part of the problem is the problem with Angel...

Now that's more like it. 0

If you read my last review, you probably know that while I liked the last issue, I still had some doubts with it. Mainly the two members I didn't like or had no idea existed. Well now that I've read a bit more about Fantomex and now know what he can do and how he acts, I like this book a lot more. Although I still don't like Angel...never have, probably never will. I just don't like the character, something about a pretty rich boy with wings and a split personality disorder doesn't appeal to me ...
