Still Great - but how much does it affect? 0

This week's Uncanny X-Force falls into the same strange valley as X-Men Legacy. It presumably takes place before the events of Schism. And as of Regenesis we can see whether or not Apocalypse's plan has succeeded and whether or not Betsy is his bride.That aside, if you view this book in a vacuum - away from the rest of the X-books, remember hit it out of the park once again. nuanced threads coming together 0

The GoodLots of good in here, I'm going to start with the Deadpool, Fantomex, Deathlok band of 'heroes'. Think about it, Deadpool, Fantomex and Deathlok not exactly a team you'd sell a book on but these three are written really well in this book. Fantomex's development under Remender has been excellent and well paced. We get this illustrated in this issue with Fantomex's internal monologue, he understands his actions have been out of character and gives his motives here. It plays out great. Dead...

The StoryArchangel wakes up with Pestilence beside him in bed. He notes that his Angel persona is still there. Some Akkaba henchmen are discussing Archangel's plan when Fantomex, Deadpool and Deathlok sneak up and kill them, infiltrating the base.
