    Synopsis

Outside Los Angeles, Storm flies alongside Psylocke's craft and asks her about the last six months. Psylocke simply replies that the old X-Force team was already dying and she just needed to put it down. She had to get out of Wolverine's school. She ponders on a conversation between she and Wolverine in which he essentially kicks her out of his school with the cryptic message to check her email. The women are interrupted by a SHIELD operative that they are flying illegally on the west coast. The women ignore the warning of adverse measures and continue on their way. Storm takes out a mess of drones sent to apprehend them. Without any further interruptions, Storm asks Psylocke about that email from Wolverine.

The email is a forwarded communication from an operative that Wolverine had dispatched. The message states that Wolverine is right in that a new drug has been made and the effect on is a sort of brain-washed mass of mind-controlled partying people. The drug is called Tao and Wolverine's fears about the handler proved correct.

Having related the email's contents, Psylocke asks about Storm and Wolverine. Storm plays coy and is saved from further interrogation when the ladies pull up in front of a bar. Wolverine's contact is supposed to be in the bar. The walk in to find Puck surrounded by a gaggle of women. He warmly welcomes Storm and offers his condolences on her divorce. He then shows the ladies the dealer: Spiral. Noting her unfinished business with the six-armed woman, Psylocke jumps into action by attacking Spiral. With the diversion, Storm and Puck sneak off to investigate the bank. As the women fight, Storm and Puck find the vault. Storm freezes it off its hinges the duo finds a girl inside. She is scared, but not of Storm and Puck. She seems to see that Psyolocke is hurting Spiral. She sends out a message to the druggies to protect Spiral. A Review For An X Book Newbie 0

The Good:Is It New Reader Friendly?Kind of, if this is your first ever X book you may be a little bit confused with certain characters like Fantomex. However characters like Psylocke, Storm and Puck are a little more straight forward and you'll see glimpses of character's history sprinkled through the issue.Characters:I was pretty hesitant when buying this since there were a few characters I didn't recognize or know anything about since I've somewhat been out of the X-Men loop for a while now.My ...

    Puck Is A Pimp 0

The Overview:Finally. I have been eagerly waiting to get my hands on this book since its announcement and now that it is finally here, I must say, it is everything Sam Humphries said it would be.X-Force is back together but with some new faces as well as old. In this issue, writer Sam Humphries has laid down all his pieces onto the table and we're getting straight into the thick of it as the members interact in order to investigate this new drug in the L.A. club scene. But is this new direction,...

    Nice Start 0

7.5/10Marvel NOW has been a success for the most part but I was uncertain of Uncanny X-Force starting a new run after the unbelievable Rick Remender run. But in the new age of comics ALL good things come to an end. NOW after finally reading the first issue, with Sam Humphries writing and Ron Garney on pencils, my hope is reborn anew! The first issue is an action packed romp from the beginning. Adding Puck into the mix kept the fun that Deadpool and Fantomex brought to the last series. Sure that's...
