Plot Summary

The Rodney King trial is coming to its conclusion and the Squad are feeling nervous about its impact. When the defendants of the trial are found innocent, Los Angeles goes into a riot. However, the Squad are told by police personnel that they are not allowed to get involved. The Squad defies that order and goes to the streets to help, but they find their efforts fruitless. In the middle of the riots, a man with the ultra power to generate electricity uses his ability to defend his uncle's store, accidentally killing one of the rioters. The riots finally die down and a police officer, Jamal Brown, tells the Squad that their efforts helped more than they could realize.

In a backup story, Firearm is on a mission in New York City.
