The Beginning

Shin Tahaya was a member of the Science Patrol, until one night,he was disctracted while flying his plane by a red sphere in the air. Shin crashed and died, the red sphere turned out to be a the ship of a giant alien being who had red and silver skin, this being came from the M78 Nebula. The being thought that it was his fault that Tahaya had died, so he gave his life to him, and they both became one person. Every time that danger came near, Tahaya transformed into Ultraman to fight the evil, and protect Earth.

Monsters

In the series, the year is 1993 (it was actually 1963)

and at this time Earth is constantly being attacked by evil alien creatures, and the Science Patrol is the only force capable of fighting the monsters from outer space, but sometimes they aren't enough against the creatures. That's when Hataya comes in and turns into the giant hero, Ultraman. After a long hard battle Ultraman would finish his enemy with his ultimate move, the Specium Ray. This meant that if Ultraman did this move, you knew the fight was over. The series had a lot of monsters from including Baltan, Ace Killer Zetton and many more. Ultraman also changed, some of the transformations he made was to form into Ultraman Jack, Ultraman Leo, Ultraman Ace, and many more.

Superpowers

Some of Ultra-Man's powers, mostly the most important.

Ultra Slash: The Ultra Slash is a saw-like energy ring that is shot from Ultra-man's hand. The Ultra Slash is capable of cutting a being in half, although other creatures can stop it or even destroy it if they are lucky enough, it has helped Ultra-man many times.

Electrical Resistance: Ultraman is immune to electrical and lightning attacks, he is one of the few of his kind with this ability.

Ultra Psychokinesis: This is Ultra-Man's telekinetic power, it is also know as Ultra Willpower.

Teleportation: Ultraman also has the ability to teleport, he used this power to teleport from Planet X to Earth. But it has its drawbacks too: It requires a large amount of energy to be used, also when Ultraman teleports, he leaves behind Hayata's body in its comatose state, and the two cannot re-merge until they are in sufficient proximity.

Ultra-Kick: This move is basically a normal kick, performed by Ultra-Man, there-for making it an Ultra-Kick.

Ultra-Punch: A very powerful punch, equal to the strength of 50 elephants.

Ultra-Seperation: Ultra-man has the awesome ability of creating for duplicates of himself, allowing him to fight various monsters at once.

Ultra-Swing: Ultra-Man swings his opponent around several times and then lets go, this was used to defeat Redking and Terresdon.

Marine Specium Ray: A rainbow colored Specium Ray.

Ultra Attack Beam: When Ultraman performs this move, he can paralyze an opponent, it usually takes a bit too much energy.

Specium-Ray: Last but not least, one of Ultra-Man's greatest powers, the Specium Ray. Ultraman crouches and creates a cross with both his wrists, with his right forearm vertical and left forearm horizontal in front of it, then an extremely powerful light-ray. This ray kills most of Ultra-Man's monster opponents. Specium is a deadly substance found only in mars, it can burn a monster to death.

This are only some of Ultra-Man's great powers, he wouldn't be able to defeat such creatures if it weren't for them.
