Okay, so I've been critical of this series most of the last half of it's run. I haven't read the issues, just paged through them, this I did read and will be buying the TPB.
It would seem to me that the opening where Wolverine threatens Betsy Ross is very similar to how he threatened Spider-Woman in New Avengers this time last year or so. Betsy isn't too fond of this and hulks out and a fight happens. There is some covering of She-Hulk's butt in one shot leading me to believe Marvel doesn't like showing butts.
We get the resolve of the fighting between Logan and THE Hulk. The ending is rather quick and the series ends finding it's place in the Ultimate timeline.
Did I like this issue? Yeah, the writing was good, the art looked awesome. Did it cap off the series nicely? I suppose. Was the series really Wolverine vs Hulk? Ahhh.... not what I expected. And truly, if this is how the story was supposed to go from the very beginning all I really have to say is, REALLY?? This is how you saw the series going?
Don't get me wrong, lots of action, just the nibbling feeling it didn't deliver what was expected. I'm not even 100% that the "epic" battle that Wolverine talked about in Ultimates 3 ever happened. This was a good issue as an issue on it's own, the story over the course of the 6 issues was kind of meh.

Good but an anti-climax

It was good, but an unsatisfying end really as (Spoilers) Wolverine and the Hulk become best buddies and walk off into the sunset together. What makes this book good is that Damon Lindoff writes excellent dialogue between the characters and it has amazing art, really amazing (Yu is one of the best in my opinion). I’ve enjoyed the series over all; this issue was just a bit of an anti-climax.
