The book opens with Spiderman across the hood of a police car. Elektra is looking out of the window of Hammerheads apartment admiring what she had just done. She returns to Hammerhead and helps him the rest of the way out of Spidermans webbing. He begins to ask her about the cops outside, and says he has got to leave the country. While he is giving her orders to kill Iron Fist, Elektra realises that if he is leaving the country, his job offer is recended and she stabs him in the chest. Outside Spiderman wakes up, and as soon as he does, the police try to arrest him, but Captain Jean Dewolf stops them before he is in custody. As she is berating her men, Hammerhead comes flying out of the window. Spiderman saves him with his webs and hands him over to the police. In the apartment Black Cat stops Elektra from leaving and the two of them get into a fight that does not go well for the Cat. As Elektra is about to kill Black Cat, Moon Knight hurls on of his crests into the back of her head and throws her onto the cop car below the window. Outside Spiderman is watching the clean up, when the Black Cat shows up.She had released Iron Fist and Shang Chi from the webb, and is trying to apologise to Spiderman. She offers to make out with him, but when she removes the mask and finds out he is just a kid, she begins to hurl. The book closes with Kingpin talking to someone, who tells him that Elektra switched sides only to switch back when things didn't go Hammerheads way. Kingpin mentions that Spiderman now trusts the person who he is talking to and we find out that it is none other than Jean Dewolf.
