Gwen is a "cutie"? 0

3 out of 5.... is preety much right....  -You would probably wanna read my review for issue 1 first- (http://www.comicvine.com/ultimate-comics-spider-man-the-new-world-according-to-peter-parker/37-166815/user_reviews/?review=4997)  Ok on the first issue I mentioned that I didn't like the art.... still don't like it, but I wouldn't expect me to change my mind  just one issue later...  As far as the story goes... Bendis gave me some added questions to series..... Liek what happened to MJ and Kitty...

Putting The PHFun Back In 0

So, I decided to stick with Ultimate Spider-Man, even though it's called Ultimate  Comics Spider-Man now. David LaFuente's art is going to take a little getting used to, just like Stuart Immonen's art took some getting used to after Mark Bagley. Talk about drastic changes in the art! These three guys are  nothing like each other!  I stopped reading Ultimate Fantastic Four around the time Namor showed up, and I didn't read either Ultimatum, or the Ultimate Fantastic Four: Requiem one-shot, so I h...

Is It All A Lie? 0

The Parker household deals with an unexpected guest from last issue, and the place gets pretty heavy quick. From there we go to school were Alcatraz seems to have been a happier place for these guys, especially after all the break-ups that happened after the Ultimatum wave. You meet 2 new villains, mom and daughter, probably Jersey, and our guest finally wakes up....

Spectacular 0

If you read the last issue, then you should know the Kingpin is dead. The reinvention of Mysterio is amazing, theres no magician acts, but he does deal a lot with machinery. It's nice to see that the ultimate universe hasnt completely forgotten about the events of Ultimatum. Kitty Pride is forbidden to use her mutant powers, the daily bugle has gone out of business, and The Spectacular Spider-man is idolized by almost all of New York. Usually, some writers forget these things but lucky, this com...

Did i die and go to comic heaven? (PART 2) - Ultimatum 0

If you read my last review, apparently someone thought that i wasn't clear enough when i told spoilers, so now i'll put the word SPOILERS, in bold. Now that i've dealt with that , time to review some comics.   First i would like to say that Ultimatum, has been redeemed and its thank to Ultimate Spiderman and Avengers. (why didn't Bendis and Millar write Ultimatum anyway?, that would have been worth $4.00 an issue!) Any-who, this issue opens with the catch-up page witch tells what happenned last...

An event here and an event there 0

Okay we have a new villain introduced- the Mysterio who kills kingpin. While this is picking up a thread, there is this Johnny Storm lying in Spidey's house; there is a lady and her daughter trying to shoplift a store with their mysterious bombshell powers. Again a mix of lot of events with none of them leading anywhere.Art: So-so. I don't like it that much. Although the art of the town is awesome but the people don't look that great. Especially Peter & Gwen. They look more like Manga charac...
