The Sinister Six search for Peter Parker
Cover
I enjoyed the cover. I liked seeing all of the Sinister six trying to kill Spider-man. Which is perfect for the title of this story arc, which is on the cover, called Death of Spider-man.
Story
The Sinister Six is trying to find Peter Parker at his house but they find Iceman and the Human Torch instead.
Best Part
My favorite part in this issue has to be the narration going through Peter’s head. Where are all the heroes to help him? They are going to save the world before they save a teenager. Captain America left him dyeing when Peter saved his life. But I still question is one bullet really going to kill Spider-man or is it going to be something greater. Another conclusion can be that he is not going to die at all. I just can’t wait until #160 when we find out.
Worst Part
I felt this issue was a little slow to be in the middle of a major story arc. When I finished the issue I said to myself, “That is the end.” I felt like there should have been a lot more because if I never had read this issue it would not have made an impact on the story at all. Also something I thought was kind of stupid in this issue was that Peter took his mask off. He is revealing his identity when he really does not have to. He could of left his mask on. The Sinister Six knows that Peter is Spider-man. So, it is not like if he does not take his mask off they won’t recognize him.
Art
I liked the art for this issue. But I did have one problem. When they mentioned Norman Osborn and showed him. It did not look like Norman Osborn. No one in the Sinister Six looked like him. So, my only complaint was for Norman’s character because he just did not look like Norman.
