This is Mask of Tengu and I am back after a long hiatus. I am glad to be back...special thanks to Aztek (who inspired me to do reviews again) and to Gman and Red Lamp (who made the technical part possible). To the review and I am happy to be back and look forward to finally reaching that 200 mark!

Do not be fooled by the cover again...Iron Man and the Hulk are not seen besides out of costume and Hulk form at the end. This instead is sooo much better. This is the origin of the title's villain...an amalgam of the Leader and Pete Wisdom. I did not expect too much from this book besides the Hulk and Iron Man fighting and tearing up cities, but I am pleasantly surprised by the intelligence of this series. I shouldn't be so shocked...it was written by one of the best, Warren Ellis. This issue is probably, in my opinion, the best of this mini...thus far.

Now to the art...beautiful cover...but Cary Nord gets me with extremely detailed close ups and half-assed further off scenes...the art does not detract from the story, but after further observation it could be sooooooo much better.

I really recommend this book and the back issues...besides Ultimate Spider-Man this is the best of the Ultimate bunch.
