    Ultimate Comics X-Men #3

    Positive:

One thing that really grabs hold of me in this issue are the colors. The art work is phenomenal and classy. So far this series has been a page turner. Being a new Marvel reader I don't know much about the heroes, even less about their villains. This month we start to come more into contact with what the X-Men's team looks like. As far as I can tell, with the Marvel universe, they're very government oriented. We find out how far the States will go just to insure the protection of their people and the White House. I have to say that I never saw it coming, but it appears it's out with the old and in with the new for one of Marvel's most beloved characters. I'm very interested to see where they go with this.

    Negative:

The cover for this month's issue was very meh. With the inside of the comic imploding with masterful artwork and coloring, you'd think they could come up with something better than just the faces from the first issue splashed on Iceman. This was really a turn off for me actually.

    Conclusion:

This is a must read. Get off your couch and mutate into something that moves to your nearest comic store and pick up an issue leaving you wanting more. Don't be turned off by it's mediocre cover, because it's what's inside that counts.

This will probably put Kitty in another awkward situation in the next few issues.   I'm loving Paco Medina's artwork with each issue. A bit cartoonish, but the...
