Kitty Pryde 2012
At long last, after the slow built up we are finally starting to see the X-men back into the spot light and ready to take action. Kitty pryde is the focus of this issue as she abandons her Shroud persona and is ready to fight for mutant kind and as shown, is not afraid to be a little aggressive about it. The inner monologues of Shadowcat are the best bits of dialogue in this issue as we see her struggle to see any hope that is left for both races while telling us her story into becoming the most wanted terrorist in the U.S. There are also some great interactions with the other x-men including Surge who's relationship with Kitty gives off a mother/daughter or mother/sister vibe to it. It is also worth to note that unlike previous issues which only told you the danger the country is in rather than show it, this issue does the exact opposite. If you have not been reading UCX, you should start now, especially since this issue provides a solid backstory of previous issues to fill you in.
