Ultimate Comics X-Men #12 Review 0

Ultimate Comics X-Men has been the odd kind of the Ultimate Comics lineup. How you rebuild a team that has been broken so badly since Ultimatum. Nick Spencer doesn't rebuild it but he gave us new enemies and new mysteries to compound the delicate situation mutantkind suffers in the Ultimate Marvel Universe. What Spencer did right was showing how hunting mutants has turned out of control for the government...literally.The High Points:Revelations is the name of this issue really as we see somethin...

A not so epic conclusion to a not so epic run. 0

This is a slower book when compared to the past two issues, painfully slow. It focuses largely on Alex Summers and the folks that are looking for him, and that's about it. The United States was under attack and being destroyed by Nimrods. It's a little strange that those events are not even addressed here. Sure, we spend most of the issue in a mental institution, but it still feels weird that nobody is all that concerned. Nick Spencers run on Ultimate Comics X-men has overall been underwhelming....
