Synopsis: Nick Fury leads an all out assault against The Children of Tomorrow.-What's Good?Now this is what I'm talking about. If the Ultimate Marvel Universe was possibly coming to an end, this is how it should be and not like Ultimatum. Yes, I still hold a grudge with Ultimatum to an extent, but really, Jonathan Hickman has something going here with The Ultimates. He goes back to what made the first two Ultimate books so great. Every out of the ordinary event that happens throughout this issue...

Last we saw The Ultimates, Asgard was destroyed, the gods were routed, and Yggdrasil was destroyed, stripping Thor’s very divinity from him. In other words: dark days for the Ultimate Universe.
