The new start to the Ultimate Spiderman series was great. They started to make Mysterio kind of Spidey's main villain. The knew bunch of superheroes living in Peter's house, Iceman and the Human Torch, added a great new spin on the series. Add that together with Peter Parkers life being as it already is even without him being Spiderman and you've already got a great story.
