What secret of Tony's has turned WAR MACHINE against him?
Jarvis and Tony want to find out what the Mandarin was after when Carol Danvers stands in his door. She is angry because he wants to seduce her instead of taking her seriously. She tells him South Pacific Financial seems to be involved, so Tony goes to Hong Kong to investigate. He infiltrates South Pacific headquarters and finds clues that lead to the Mandarin but also point to his father. Before he can continue he is attacked by a security drone and retreats.
Tony dreams of his father, doing business with Asian companies. He wakes up and goes on trying to find out more about Mandarin despite Carol's reluctance. He asks Rhodey to join him on his quest which he wants to refuse. But then they are attacked by Stark drones.
