    Gary T. Becks, Jason Lenox and David Paul founded Ugli Studios in 2011. They focus on creator owned comics and it has become a showcase for several of the up and coming artists and creators. Ugli Studios funded a couple of their releases by using the kickstarter website.

    Releases include:

    Ugli Studios Present #1, The Art of Jason Lenox Vol. 1 (fully funded by kickstarter), The ends #1 and #2, The Courier and Painted Ladies of San Quentin (black and white edition) (fully funded by kickstarter).
