"Once upon a time there was a pretty little girl who poisoned all she touched. Some called her Mary, others called her Typhoid. Every time she let out a sweet breath, someone else fell dead. She was sweet she was toxic she was Typhoid."

Origin

Mary Menzinis worked at a brothel, and during one of Daredevil's missions to stop a criminal at the brothel, Mary is accidentally knocked through a window. During the time she was institutionalized her mind fractured into distinct personalities that demonstrated psychic powers.

It has also been said that due to childhood abuse Mary developed disassociative indentity dissorder, giving her three distinct personalities: timid Mary Walker, lustful Typhoid, and vicious Bloody Mary. Although sometimes during therapy a fourth personality has seemed to emerge as a stable combination of the three.

It's said that she is the absolute male fanatasy. The virgin, the whore, the little girl, mommy, but then she's a killer too.

When "Typhoid" takes over Mary gets a high fever as though she was sick, however she becomes far more athletic than timid Mary Walker. She can unconsciously call upon all of her personalities at will, but Mary can not recall anything that Bloody or Typhoid due.

Typhoid seems to be the craziest and most lustful of all her personalities, Bloody seems to be the strongest and most unstable. Bloody says she only hurts men who hurt women, she sees herself as a superfeminist fighter that is fighting for the rights of women that can't protect themselves.

At some time she escapes or possibly is abducted from the institution. There is very much known about what goes on at this time, but was is known is that she has now emergeed as the criminal Typhiod Mary and alternately innocent and gifted actress Mary Walker.

She soon is hired as an assassin by the Kingpin to bring down Daredevil, playing a cruel game with Davedevil by charming him as Mary Walker and tormenting him as Thyphoid. During this time, not only did Typhoid almost kill Daredevil but Typhoid's apparent sickness and delirium inducing abilities along with a completely different voice, scent and otherwise different personalitiy characteristics kept Daredevil's super senses from determining that Mary Walker and Typhoid were the same person.

Leaving Matt Murdock badly injured and delirious with fever apparently on the verge of a mental breakdown just in time to suffer through the "inferno" story arc. However Daredevil survived, fond new resolve and defeated Bloody Mary, also discovering her alter ego's in the process. He had Mary Walker re-committed for her own good, but lost Mary's trust in doing so.

Mary has tried many times to leave her criminal past behind her, but Typhiod always reasserts itself.

While institutionalized again, Mary suffered much abuse, she secretly hired mercenary Deadpool to kill her. Instead he breaks her out of the hospital and had her confront Daredevil again, when she does she realizes she can't kill daredevil, and wants Deadpool to due so instead but Deadpool won't and he realizes that Typhoid is just to crazy and leaves her.

Powers

• Telekinesis- can levitate small objects (those weighing less that 10 pounds)
• Pyrokinesis- she has the power to set things in her immediate area aflame
• Mind Control- she has the power to implant mental suggestions into unsuspecting minds as well as sedate weak-willed people and animals
• She is also very skilled in martial arts and the use of weapons especially machetes.
