    A New First Issue

Reading this book was a relief and a disappointment. For unknown reasons Turok is advanced about five years in time with no explanation as to why. It is almost as if the last three issues didn't happen. This would explain the abruptness ending of the last issue.

In this issue we see the new characters of Andy and Regan Howell who will become big parts of Turok's tale. We also see that Andar is alright at least for now. What we loose out on however, is the war between Mon-Ark and Turok as of last issue. We never find out what happened to characters like Carlos Comacho and Serita. There were not terribly exciting characters, but neither are Regan or Andy. Although, Andy looks like he is going to be a lot of fun to read about. We also get an obviously new villain on Longhunter but he is so far uninteresting.

I recommend this issue. It is not great on it;'s own but it promises to be a lot of fun. You can also start the series here and really not miss anything. Over all thought the book is average on it's own and I only gave it three stars out of five.

    Thanks for reading my review.
