Loki devised a grand scheme to cause massive ammounts of chaos and melded three different Sentinels together to form one engine of destruction. It's mission was to destory a nueclear powerplant near NYC causing many casualties and poluting the air with massive ammounts of radiation. It took Spider-Man wielding the Captain Universe power to defeat the Tri-Sentinal before it accomplished its mission. Sentinels are advanced androids designed to hunt out and eliminate mutants.
