I might be wrong about this but from the comics that I have been buying it looks to me that she has become more of a cameo character in the X-Books set at the Jean Grey Academy. Does she play any role of significance in a particular book?

It also appears to me that she has been de-aged. Before she became a mutant she was a university student and in the Generation Hope books the was always portrayed as a young adult. Now she is at a school for teenagers.

It seems that writers forgot her age. And yeah, she's a background character now.
