so I wonder if that robot at the end was supposed to be Shockwave or just some random robot and if it isn't Shockwave or some random then how was he on Nemesis and not around during the second film?

Sure the 2nd had crater sized plot holes and a weak story but I still liked it and Michael Bay has done multiple interviews this movie will atone for Revenge and a lot of thematic elements and styles were ditched or changed but yea i'm psyched for the movie and if you aren't ok but don't pm me its annoying and y I quit posting

Now the fact that the "Ark" may have be in the teaser has brought a particular thought to my head. Has Prime perhaps visited the Solar System prior to comming to Earth to find the Allspark? Now I understand the Bayverse is already quite a different one but a particular moment in the teaser calls out to me:
This head, the first transformer we actually see in the trailer and actually get a close up of before the astronauts enter the ship. Now whats this, an armored mouth guard? Little attena's? Sinking triangular eye sockets? A weird little thing sticking out from the foor head?
This guy looks familiar...
I'll be the first to say, yes there are some clear differences. But the problem is, Transformers don't seemingly have a set look. This was nearly 40 years before Prime meets Sam. It's also before he gains anything remotely close to a earth type vehicle to transform into. So Prime actually has some leeway for appearance differences.
What also gets me pondering is the possible inclusion of Alpha Trion. One of the Oldest Transformers in existence and essentially the the guy that made Optimus the Robot that he is(In the series / some lore essentially repairing this brave little robot and rebuilding him as Prime). Now I wonder, here is possibly the Ark and Alpha Trion in the command seat... Now he could very well be the leader of this group of Autobots or just keeping Prime's seat warm. More inclined to believe the role of leadership was passed down to Prime possibly through Trion.
But wait Hellos all those robots are dead! Well heres the thing, they are robots and in G1 they pretty much sat out cold for a few million years in statis till the ship got them up and running. The very presence of this group of astronauts may have kicked started the Ark on turning them back on. Because we already know they didn't take any of these Transformers, much less the ship back with them to Earth(Since we only saw the B1 and that was seemingly the tool they reversed engineered technology from, not any other sources apparenty). Perhaps an important Item like the key to vector sigma or something like that. But none the less for all we know the Ark along with it's crew went back home to fight a way with a ruthless enemy, because it comes off as extremely silly that the Autobots or Decepticons would miss a big fellow cybertronian vessal on the Darkside of the moon. Muchless would the big top secret government want to leave this ship essentially unattended.
Now this is all likely wishful thinking, but I'm bored lol.
@Hellos: Those are some interesting points. That bot at the end I think may actually be Alpha Trion now that you mention it. And whatever it is that's on the moon could be another ancient Cybertronian artifact that the Autobots don't know about. After all, they didn't know about the Sun-harvester or the Fallen and at the end of ROTF they said they'd work together to discover the past that they had together since their races had met before a long time ago.

Glad someone actually got to read that post. :P I don't know, the Ark was pretty important portion of the history for them to not have a clue WTF it is. The fact Bay has the rear end of the thing sticking out of the ground implies at least to me that it's probably the Ark.
The Ark's big on crashing and having both good and bad transformers out cold in stasis as a result.

I in truth agree with this. I'd rather just have an epic story with just the Transformers than any of the humans. I come for the big robot fights, not to see Megan Fox get humped by a perverted robot...... -__-

Yeah, through all the Transformers media I've ever viewed, the only humans I have ever really liked or didn't actually hate were the military people. Not just the military guys in the movies, but in the comics as well.
@Edamame: it should be obvious by his name. Sentinel PRIME, does it sound famuler to you? not to mentuion this aitn hte first incarnation of Sentinel prime eather, but the last incarnation was a compleat jackass though.
