The leader of the Autobots in their war against the Decepticons, Optimus Prime is a noble robot that believes freedom is the right of all sentient beings. He has fallen many times over the course of his different incarnations, but always returns in the Autobots' darkest hour. He truly believes that true peace may never occur until "All Are One". He has had several alternate modes throughout his many different incarnations, but is most renowned for his earliest transformation into a semi-truck.
Tidal Wave is a huge Decepticon that transforms into an aircraft carrier. He is one of the biggest Decepticons there is.
Kicker Jones is a human who works with the Autobots on their missions. He is a close friend of Ironhide.
The Autobot military strategist and one of Optimus Prime's most trusted officers. He might seem gruff and aggressive, but he is kind at heart.
Megatron is leader of the Evil Decepticons. His motto is "Peace Through Tyranny". In almost everyway Megatron is the exact opposite of Optimus Prime. He is brutal, relentless, and the very definition of Destruction. Megatron has earned the respects of his fellow Decepticons simply because of his brute power and overall undeniable leadership. The most interesting part of most incarnations of Megatron is that he truly believes that he is the good guy and that alone makes him even more terrifying.
A former scientist and pacifist, Jetfire joined the Autobots after seeing the brutality and violence of his former friend Starscream and the Decepticons.
Was a G1 Transformer and at one point and time was the leader of the Decepticons because of Galvatrons untimely demise during the Headmasters animated series.
A fellow Autobot, but not one of a high rank.

Ravage is one of Soundwave's cassette tape minions and one of Megatron's most loyal warriors.
A demonic transformer deity who devours whole planets. Travels through space in a "monster-planet" mode and is able to transform into a robot, "battle" mode. Roughly the size of Saturn.
Inferno's an Autobot fire truck specializing in search and rescue.
One of the few female Autobots, though rarely a damsel in distress. Arcee is an expert in hand-to-hand combat and one of the best sharpshooters on record.
Tow-Line is an Autobot from Transformers Energon.
Cyclonus is a Decepticon and servent of Megatron.
Landquake is an Autobots from the Transformers Energon continuity.
Strongarm is an Autobot. He's a mechanics expert and helps his team in any electrical systems failure, constantly fixing broken or faulty weapons systems.
The second-in-command of the Decepticons. He seeks to rule, but is held back by his cowardice. Nevertheless, his ruthless efficiency, stealth, and speed on the battlefield make him a valuable ally. However, he is the complete opposite of fellow Decepticon Soundwave because of the fact that he is not truly loyal to Megatron and is one of the Decepticons Megatron truly doesn't trust. Yet even with all the treachery he always finds himself somewhat in Megatron's favor.
A first generation product of Vector Sigma, Alpha Trion is considered one of the architects of the Golden Age of Cybertron.
Overload is an Autobot powerhouse. He is a Mech designed by Red Alert to combine with Rollout.
Rodimus Prime, originally named Hot Rod, was for a time the new leader and The Chosen One in the prophecy for the Autobots.
Landmine is the name of several characters in the Transformers Universe. The last incarnation is the one in the 2007 film who was brought to life by the All Spark during the final battle with Megatron and now works as an agent of Sector Seven.
