    Just don't think

Optimus Prime, Megatron and all the other giant robots return to bash each others' heads in some more. This time, our favourite truck has to fight a firetruck and another truck.

    The Good

    • There is an amazing lot of stuff in this film that just looks cool. The cars look cool, the clothes look cool, Rosie Huntington's cleavage looks cool.
    • There are cool people in this. Sam Witwicky is awesome, but the world fails to see it. And that gives him the vibe of being an actual human being. I can totally see what he's on about when he says he feels like he is more than just a messenger.
    • There is not as much forced comedy in this one. I didn't mind that much in the first two movies, because the jokes were usually funny in the context of it being a Transformers movie, but they really wouldn't have fit in this one.

    The Bad:

    • With movies like these, there's one thing as a director you must never do: Give the audience time to think about what they just saw. Sure, you can have a couple people jumping out of the fiftieth story window to then slide down the outer wall of a collapsing skyscraper and then shoot the windows in because that will keep them from being crushed. All perfectly acceptable. However, if you drag that scene out too long, if you let the audience think for even one second, it becomes absolutely ridiculous.
    • Alan Tudyk hacks 128 bit encryption using nothing but a DOS-prompt and his mind. It takes him a couple of seconds. This is phyiscally impossible. A human brain can't do that.
    • Rosie Huntington is indestructible. There's an entire city being devastatet, Rosie gets thrown around quite a bit, is ina the above-mentioned collapsing skyscraper, has cars, people and buildings explode right next to her... and her white shirt remains perfectly white, her face does not get one scratch on it and her hair is still perfect.
    • The action scenes lacked the OOMPH. They had no impact what so ever. Sure, things explode most impressively and Michael Bay does things that are pretty cool, but it remains very topical and fails to draw you in. However, I am willing to entertain the thought that it's because there's too much story going around.

    The Verdict:
Go see it, it is quite a bit of fun. The 3D - I'm told - is not too bad (Due to having only one eye, I can't really see it, but I ask my friends). But what you must do is go in there and stop thinking until the movie's over or you go in there drunk. That's always fun.

A Perfect Ending To The Best Sci-fi Franchise Ever 0

I saw this today, and it was amazing. It was a perfect ending to a great line of movies.    They make it look like during the battle for Cybertron, a alien spacecraft, known as the arch, escaped caring rods that could help the autobots claim victory over Cybertron. But as the arch was escaping, a member of the decepticons shot it and the arch was haywire. It ended up crash landing on the moon. So they make it to seem the reason we went up to the moon in '69 was to see what crashed there.   Later...
