Overview
The "Toronto Daily Chronicle" was once considered a dirt-sheet, far behind the "Toronto Sentinel" in readership. Over the years, after being purchased by Toronto billionaire August Fenwick, the paper earned a great deal of respectability. Under the leadership of editor-in-chief Timothy J. Pearly, the "Chronicle" hired away the "Sentinel's" star reporter, Jack Peters, and enjoyed a long life at the top of the news game.
