    Joe Kubert is the writer, artist, letterer, and co-colorer of this Prehistoric tale.

    Tor goes hunting in the unfamiliar jungle and ends up fighting for his life against a sabre-toothed tiger! While recovering from his wounds he flashes back to the events that have brought him to this place.  Even though Tor is clearly a labor of love for Joe Kubert, it seems like this this issue, which gives the requisite origin story, did not receive as full a treatment as it could have.
