Tom Brevoort has worked for Marvel Comics since 1986. Brevoort started as an intern and worked his way up to the position of assistant editor and then to full editor. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Publishing at Marvel Comics and has been involved in many critically acclaimed series, including New Avengers, Civil War, and Fantastic Four.

Brevoort also serves as editor on a number of titles, such as Avengers, Fantastic Four, Captain America, Iron Man and others.
