    Awesome Sauce.

The Good: This is one of my absolute favorites of the 'DC Character Spotlight Covers' of January. It highlights the main character in an iconic pose looking awesome and not being compromised by the white background. And the logo they have for Deathstroke works and is epic.
The reveal at the end of the last issue works well to start this one, and it was perfect to see each characters first thoughts to characterize the characters and be nice inner monologues.
Ink's reactions seem nice and realistic, and spotlight him among the entire cast that is all well written and very well individualized in this issue.
Ink's fight with Slipknot was pretty awesome, especially for being drawn by Fiorentino. And it all leads up to an epic and extremely satisfying climax, even for someone (like me) who didn't read Final Crisis Aftermath: Ink.
The end of the fight mirrors the beginning of the issue. Each characters varied personalities being reflected in their first thoughts after the end of the fight.
And now we save the best for last. Readers of my Outsiders reviews will know that I have a intensely rabid adoration for the artwork of Philip Tan, and to my pleasure, Philip Tan did artwork in this issue to break up some of the agonizing grainy static weirdness of Fiorentino and sometime Cliff Richards. Sure he only draws Osiris' sequences, but Osiris has matured from a WHINY NARCISSISTIC SELF-ENTITLED SNOTTY BRAT to an actual interesting Anti-Hero. Somewhere between issues he must have taken some Badass pills and anti-anti-psychotics, downing them with a glass of God Complex. And it may seem like a radical shift but it's not. After cutting loose the deadweight of the Titans and accepting the need to kill to bring back Isis, combined with his newfound extra hatred of those evil, has taken the law into his own hands. He's still narcissistic and self entitled, in fact he's EVEN MORE SO. But he's not WHINEY. He's gone from rich kid's brat son to crazy kid with a god complex. It's actually a pretty smooth transition. And combined with Philip Tan's gloriously epic artwork, serves to make a great scene into an epic scene.

The Bad: There's a few pacing issues, namely, at the beginning, the story tends to jump back and forth between the team's story and Osiris' story just a bit too quickly.
The Atom's story seems to be nothing more than a distraction. It didn't need to take him 2 pages to figure out something we've known since issue 0. Maybe 2 panels.
As much as I love and worship the art of Philip Tan, the faces and some other stuff look a little off on the last page.

    In Conclusion: 4.5/5
Let's get one thing straight, this comic gets one entire star simply for having artwork from Philip Tan. And another 2 stars for Osiris', imo, fantastic character evolution. So a lot of the score for this goes into some personal taste. But overall I think this has genuinely been the best issue of Titans thus far. You might not like it quite as much as I did unless you are a fan of Philip Tan's and equally a not-fan of Osiris being a whiney pathetic BITCH.
